It is with great sadness that we learned about the death of the talented TV anchor Mishal Bukhari, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 38 from cancer. She was the senior anchor and host of the current affairs and social issues chat show Neo at 5 on the Neo TV channel.
She was an accomplished media personality and a great inspiration for many. Mishal started her career as a magazine sub-editor of the Daily Express and then spent about 7 years working as part of the launch crew of Express news TV channels.
Mishal Bukhari was married to Ameer Abbas, a senior anchor person of a private TV channel. Her death has left a huge void in the media industry. Her inspiring work, her talent, and her dedication to the field of media are unforgettable.
